Your child’s surgeon has extensive pediatric anesthesia training and is licensed in the State of Alaska to provide children with a comfortable office surgical experience using a wide spectrum of anesthesia techniques, including nitrous oxide, oral sedation and intravenous (IV) moderate and general anesthesia. Your child’s office-based anesthesia experience will be safe, comfortable, cost-effective and convenient. For those children requiring treatment in the hospital due to the level of complexity of their procedure or contraindications to office sedation, a visit will be arranged by the surgical team for general anesthesia in the operating room setting.
