Crouzon Syndrome

Crouzon syndrome is a craniofacial birth condition that results in abnormal fusion of skull and facial bones, affecting the shape of the head, appearance of the face and relationship of the teeth. The child with Crouzon syndrome will benefit from coordinated care from numerous medical and surgical specialists to assess and treat known issues that can arise, such as hearing loss, speech deficiencies, eye problems and skull and facial disproportion leading to severely retruded midface, bulging eyes and significant dental malocclusion.
